Creative Design Executive

Hi, I’m Damian and I’m the Creative Design Executive at Smith & Co.

I’ve been part of the Smith & Co journey since the early days and have played a key role in the evolution of the brand. Working closely with Sara, we share a creative vision and direction for how the company presents itself, ensuring every piece of marketing reflects the individuality and quality of the homes we represent.

I lead the design of our brochures, website and marketing materials, creating pieces that are thoughtfully tailored to each client and their home. It’s important to me that every design feels refined, distinctive and aligned with the Smith & Co brand.

In a team full of energy and ideas, I’m often the calm amongst the storm, helping to bring clarity and balance to the creative process.

Outside of work I’m known as the team’s resident baker. I love cookeing and baking breads and often bring fresh loaves of sourdough in for the team to enjoy, especially Sara, who has developed a slight obsession. If you have spotted our branded bread on a lifestyle board during a shoot, that is usually my handiwork.

When I’m not designing or baking, I enjoy spending time with my partner Jean. We both share a love of food and often plan short breaks away around the restaurants we want to experience.

Claire Andrews

Lead Lifestyle Photographer

Hi, I’m Claire and I’m the Lead Lifestyle Photographer for Smith & Co.

I work exclusively with the team, capturing the beautiful homes we represent and supporting our marketing creation days. I love being part of the whole process, helping to style, photograph and bring each home to life through lifestyle-led photography.

One of my favourite parts of the role is spending time with our clients. I enjoy getting to know them and helping to make the whole experience feel relaxed, enjoyable and perfectly polished, while showcasing their home at its very best.

Alongside my work with Smith & Co, I am also a wedding photographer and adore being part of such special days, capturing those once in a lifetime moments for couples and their families.

On our styling days you will usually find me entertaining the team as well as working behind the camera. I love the energy of these days and pride myself on being supportive to everyone, always bringing positivity and enthusiasm to the process.

Outside of work life is wonderfully busy. I have five children and two gorgeous dogs who keep me on my toes. I love travelling and embracing everything life has to offer.

You will also usually find me at Reformer Pilates, which I try to fit in every day.”

Gaynor Waddington

Senior Home Stylist & Client Host

I joined Smith & Co after following and admiring the company for some time. For me, Smith & Co provide a service like no other and I couldn’t wait to become part of this amazing team.

My background often comes as a surprise. I’m still a registered Nurse Practitioner, having worked in the NHS for over 40 years, and I was one of the first independent nurse prescribers in the UK.

Over the past 20 years, with the support of my husband, I also built a chain of successful medical clinics. Throughout my career, my patients’ experience was always my top priority, listening, communicating and delivering outstanding care.

Those values align perfectly with Smith & Co, where we are all passionate about providing a truly exceptional service.

I love meeting and connecting with clients and bringing that personal touch to everything I do. You will often find me making clients a cuppa, and I have even been known to take the occasional blood pressure on a styling day. A slight change from once making hospital beds to now chopping designer cushions.
In my spare time I travel frequently to Spain, where we have renovated a 400 year old village townhouse. It has become my haven of peace and tranquillity.

Debs Gates

Hi, I’m Debs, and creativity has always been the golden thread running through my career. From running my own graphic design business to selling high end art, I’ve been captivated by the narratives hidden in the smallest details, with a passion for uncovering what makes each moment or space unique and the ability to bring it vividly to life.

At Smith & Co., I channel that same passion into styling properties and designing bespoke brochures, revealing each home’s personality and helping buyers fall in love at first sight. Working alongside our brilliant team to deliver a seamless, unforgettable experience for every client is what makes this a dream role. Nothing beats the sparkle in a client’s eyes when a house is shown in its very best light.

Outside the world of property, my life is gloriously chaotic and wonderfully entertaining. I’m a devoted mum to three cats (one of whom has a full ASBO) and can often be found battling my garden (nicknamed the fourth bridge), sharing good food and laughter with friends, or taking to the stage as the singer of an 80s band alongside my husband, harmonising through soaring choruses and unapologetic nostalgia.

Whether it’s homes, horticulture, harmonies, herding cats, or lively evenings with friends, I throw myself in wholeheartedly, sprinkling creativity, laughter, and a little bit of mischief.

Hi, my name is Hannah and I am Client Executive at Smith & Co.
Before joining the team here, I worked for several years in hospitality, experiencing all aspects of customer service in a 4* hotel. Working in events, especially weddings, means I have a keen eye for the details, and nothing is too much trouble for me to help you with.

I am a stickler for a checklist and take great satisfaction in completing a task and knowing that I have done my very best for our client. When I was offered the job here at Smith & Co, I felt as though I would fit in straight away, based on the core values, especially empowerment and compassion. And I was right, I love it!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting National Trust properties, and there is not a Royal Documentary out there that I haven’t seen.

Hi, I’m Jen, and I’m the Sales Progressor at Smith & Co.

Before moving into sales progression, I spent 15 years in forensic science, honing my calm, methodical approach. Now, I bring that same precision to guiding each property transaction from start to finish.

At Smith & Co., I work to keep every sale on track, ensuring nothing is overlooked. I know how stressful moving can be, so I focus on clear communication and a proactive approach to make the process as smooth as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy a slower pace. You’ll often find me out on long walks with my husband and two daughters, or curling up with a good book, simple moments that bring balance to a busy day.

Will Jordan

Videographer & Drone Expert

Hi, I’m Will, a videographer with over 10 years of experience behind the camera. For the past 5 years, I’ve been lucky enough to bring unique homes to life on film, exclusively for Smith & Co., capturing the character and personality that make each one truly special.

Beyond property, my work spans the fast paced world of boxing and elite athletes through to lifestyle films and brand stories. I thrive on the variety and the challenge, but above all I love creating content that feels authentic and inspiring. Outside of filming, I’m passionate about fitness and travel, and you’ll often find me in the gym or exploring new places. Life is never dull with my two dogs, a Frenchie and a Retriever, who are always close by and full of character.

I believe in positivity and a can do attitude, and I bring that mindset to every project. For me, film is not just about what you see, it’s about what you feel.

My love for property started young, watching my parents renovate and design homes filled with character and beauty. That early joy for unique spaces has grown into what Smith & Co. is today, a wonderful team who share my passion for celebrating individuality and helping people move into the next chapter of their lives.

I adore empowering the team to create marketing that feels different – innovative, thoughtful, and truly worthy of the homes we represent. From styled shoots to presenter-led films and magazine-quality brochures, it’s about telling each home’s story in a way that really connects.
What I treasure most, though, are the people. My clients, my team, my family, and friends, they’re at the heart of everything I do. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the excitement on a client’s face when we’ve captured their home perfectly and found the right buyer to fall in love with it.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my daughters, Anya, and Tally, out walking, on the reformer Pilates bed, or planning my next trip. Travel, laughter, and time with the people I love keep me inspired and full of energy.
